Plain-language terms for CerAImic's services. A signed proposal or agreement always takes precedence over this page; this is the ground it stands on.

CerAImic is the one-person practice of Ali Najef Abu Ita, offering AI consultancy, implementation and managed agent infrastructure for small and medium businesses. Enquiries go through the contact page. The mailbox address is deliberately not published: a bare address on a public page is scraped and flooded with spam, and the form reaches the same mailbox with abuse protection in front of it.
Advisory, architecture, implementation, and running agent infrastructure. What any engagement includes is defined in a written proposal before work starts: the scope, the deliverables, the price, and the timeline. If it is not in the proposal, it is not promised.
Advice is given in good faith on the information available at the time. Decisions about your business remain yours; outcomes depend on execution on both sides.
Recurring engagements can be paused or ended with two weeks' notice. Fixed-price projects follow the cancellation terms in their proposal. If a project stalls on our side, you owe nothing for the time it was stalled.
Anything you share about your business is treated as confidential by default, kept that way after an engagement ends, and used only to deliver your work. Nothing is shown to a third party without your say-so.
You own the deliverables built specifically for you, once paid for. CerAImic keeps its own pre-existing tools, methods and know-how, and may reuse the general lessons, but never your data or your confidential material. Where open-source components are used, their own licences apply, and they are chosen so that your use of your own system is never restricted.
CerAImic is liable up to the value of the fees paid for the engagement in question, and not for indirect losses such as lost profit or lost data. Work on live systems follows the change and backup arrangements agreed in the proposal. Dutch law applies; disputes go to the court in the district where CerAImic is established.
Anything unclear here is a conversation, not a dispute. Get in touch and it gets explained before it becomes an issue.
