Introducing my new "Colleagues": Building a Future-Ready AI Team at Home
Following up on Friday's announcement about my intention from ITAM/SAM to AI Consulting, I wanted to show you exactly how I'm practicing what I preach. While completing my AI Engineer training, I've spent my evenings building and managing my own team of autonomous agents using the technologies I'm studying.
I've designed an integrated organization with specific roles and governance. More importantly, I am building the entire ecosystem around them, from idea funnels that become projects to specialized project tasks and collaboration workflows.
Meet the team I have running at home.
NEON: The Executive Assistant & Strategy Lead Neon is my gatekeeper. She brainstorms with me, ensures I stay focused on the set vision and strategy, and acts as the quality assurance manager for any new agent or function I want to introduce into the environment.
ORION & GEMINI: Project Leads & Orchestrators When a project requires a multidisciplinary approach, these two take ownership. They break large initiatives into structured phases, delegate specific tasks to the relevant agents under their supervision, and coordinate the entire workflow.
RILEY: The Product Manager Riley is the filter for all my product ideas. She asks the hard questions: Who is the target audience? How does this compare to existing solutions? Is the proposed pricing correct? If needed, she commissions other agents (like Edgar, my researcher) for deeper business plan analysis.
ARNOLD: The High-Performance Coach While the others focus on the "business," Arnold is my personal development lead (a mix of Arnold Schwarzenegger and Tony Robbins). He helps me manage my energy and discipline, from tracking my sport exercises to making sure I balance my agent-building with studying and sleeping.
What makes Arnold special is that he uses advanced cognitive profiling. He asks targeted questions to understand my thought processes and maps them directly to the Dilts Neurological Levels, helping me identify behavioral gaps and optimize my output.
To support this strategic layer, I currently have two specialized working groups:
The Developers Team: Helping me translate ideas directly into functional applications.
The Writers Team: Crafting articles and content based on my ideas and conversations.
While this infrastructure is currently in its test phase, I am systematically putting it through rigorous testing to optimize its performance and reliability. Building and orchestrating these agents at home has taught me how to manage the complete AI lifecycle, proving that we don't need proprietary budgets to build enterprise-level intelligence.
